Donetsk Regional State Administration reminds that graduates from high-schools on the territory of “Donetsk People Republic” will not receive graduation certificates. But there is a solution!

We would like to inform parents of pupils, studying in schools located on occupied territories, that nine- and eleven-graders WILL NOT RECEIVE official Ukrainian education certificates.
To receive the graduation certificate and thus be able to enter a higher education institution in Ukraine, students should transfer to the free territory.
The Department of Education and Science at Donetsk Regional State Administration outlined a simplified mechanism for such transfer. Relevant instructions were given to all municipal and district departments of education on Ukrainian territory.
For transfer to an educational institution under Ukrainian authority, it is not necessary to change your residence. You can simply apply for remote or individual studies, or externship. For this, parents should present following documents to a department of education in any Ukrainian city or district in Donetsk region: application, birth certificate or passport, and education certificate (if there is any).
Due to the fact that officials of the so-called “Donetsk People Republic” impede the delivery of documents necessary for transfer (ninth-grade certificate, personal files etc.), the Department of Science and Education at the Regional State Administration ordered the city and district departments of education to accept students even with basic set of above-mentioned documents.
Under the circumstances, Regional State Administration takes all available measures to ensure that every graduate student of current academic year, residing on the occupied territory, could obtain a valid education certificate.
WE KINDLY ASK YOU TO PASS ON THIS INFORMATION TO CONCERNED PUPILS AND THEIR PARENTS LIVING IN DONETSK AND OTHER OCCUPIED TERRITORIES
